Losing Our Religion....

An article in the USA Today entitled, Most religious groups in USA have lost ground, discusses the American Religious Identification Survey. It examines the current religious condition in the United States. Some highlights of the survey include: an increase in people identifying themselves as spiritual instead of having a specific religious affiliation, social mobility affecting the rates of religious members, and an increase in the number of people claiming no religious affiliation. For more information and statistics, check out the ARIS website. For more information on religion and society, check out our display on the bookcase near the library office.
