Do You Know Where Your Food Comes From?

You will now....A new law went into effect yesterday requiring manufacturers and suppliers to label where your food comes from. You will be able to tell if the ingredients are imported or local. Food safety groups have lobbied for labeling for years but the meat industry and grocery chains have fought labeling stating it would be burdensome and increase the cost of the food. See the MSNBC article, Long-sought food labeling law takes effect today, for more information or check out the USDA website.
