The Greenest City in America

I read an article today on the Greenest City in America on the CNN website. What an inspiration! Greensburg, Kansas was almost completely destroyed two years ago by a tornado. Since then, the community has joined together to rebuild. The community, knowing it was rebuilding from scratch, decided this was an opportunity to better their community and to give their children opportunities. In then end, they are becoming an example to the rest of the world on how to live, build, and grow in an environmentally friendly way. Their new homes, city buildings, and businesses are all energy efficient using technologies such as solar, wind, and geothermal power. To find out more, visit the Greensburg, KS homepage.
