How Do You Get the News?

Do you still have a subscription to the local newspaper? Do you watch the evening news at 11? Or have you joined millions of others who get their news from the internet? How does the internet affect tradition print and television news? What is the future of journalism? There is a Senate hearing today on just these issues. The online article, Senate hears a dim forecast for newspapers' future, discusses the hearing and some of the alternatives offered. You can also listen to a live webcast of the hearings at the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation's website.
